Yes. Every note issued through INeedANote is 100% employer verifiable. Your employer may contact us directly using the verification information included on your note. We are fully HIPAA compliant and handle all verification requests with the utmost discretion.
Is INeedANote HIPAA compliant?
Absolutely. We take your privacy seriously. All information shared through our platform is handled in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations. Your personal and medical information is never shared without your consent.
What is INeedANote, exactly?
INeedANote connects you with a licensed medical professional for a brief consultation. If appropriate, they will issue a signed return-to-work note on your behalf. We do not provide medical treatment or prescribe medications — this service is solely for documentation purposes.
How long does the process take?
Most patients complete the entire process — from intake form to receiving their note — within the same day. The consultation call itself typically takes 2 to 5 minutes.
What if my symptoms haven't fully resolved?
INeedANote is designed for individuals whose symptoms have resolved and who are ready to return to work. If you are still experiencing symptoms, we encourage you to consult your primary care physician before returning.
